The house of Givenchy was founded in 1952 by designer Hubert de Givenchy. After retiring in 1995, Givenchy was succeeded by several acclaimed young designers like John Galliano (January 1996), Alexander McQueen (October 1996), Julien MacDonald (March 2001) and Riccardo Tisci (March 2005). Givenchy is now converted into the international fashion brand and provided many fashion apparel worldwide. Many fashion shows held this year in 2014 by Givenchy.
Now, a few days ago Givenchy launched their Spring Summer collection at its fashion show held at Parris (France). In this fashion a four-seater Cessna plane was stuffed and hung on the circular walkway Givenchy, exploding in all four directions and installation by Dutch artist Paul Veroude.
It was a sign of the military undercurrent in menswear spring Riccardo Tisci, full of aviator jackets hanging multi-pocket zipper pulls ripcord? Or perhaps symbolic rather than a designer pulled in too many directions. If you are interested in acquiring this collection visit your nearest mall.
